The List
There are a few dog breeds out there that tower over all others in size, strength, and endurance. Don't misjudge them though, they can still make very loving and affectionate house pets. Here is a list of most of the giant dog breeds. These are the largest of all dog breeds. I have also included ratings of each breed's aggression, playfulness, watch dog ability, grooming, shedding, energy, and intelligence. Remember, though, that each individual dog can be different in certain categories from the breed average. So it is okay if you have a dog that doesn't match up with the ratings on this site.
